Elissa R. Mandel is a keynote speaker, author, speech pathologist, late diagnosed autistic and ADHD adult, and internationally recognized autism and communication expert. She is the Founder of Speech Works by Elissa, a global coaching program that helps parents of nonspeaking and speech delayed children teach their children to communicate, thrive, and move toward independence. With more than 30 years of clinical experience and lived insight as a neurodivergent professional,

Elissa developed the Speech Works by Elissa method, a root cause, motor based approach integrating oral motor development, motor planning, sensory motor skills, auditory processing, and neurological sequencing. Her work activates the six key muscle groups for speech, improves clarity, reduces maladaptive behaviors, and strengthens daily living skills. She believes every child can talk, and she equips families with the tools and confidence to make it possible.
